October 24, 2006
Today is Doug Davidson’s birthday and The Insider caught up with the veteran Y&R star in his dressing room. When asked about his plans for his big day, Doug joked, “I’m going to work on my lines!”

Of course, Doug had some special plans laid out for tonight. “Normally, I would stay here in L.A., since I’m working three days in a row,” said the actor, who lives a couple of hours away in a coastal California community. “But tonight I’m going to go home to celebrate with my family.”

Happy Birthday Doug! Sorry you had to work on your birthday but at least it's good news for us because it means we get to see Paul on screen more! Hope you get a juicy storyline this coming year - you are way overdue! Have a great celebration with your family!

Doug, I wish you a very Happy Birthday.
Paul has always been my favorite character and you are one of the best actors of Y&R.
I hope Paul will get a front burner storyline soon. How about bringing back his children Heather and Ricky?

Hi Doug I have watched you for years, you are so handsome and a great actor. Happy B-day hope it was great. I do have a question not sure how many years ago this was but you had dressed up as a woman and took pictures on the show I believe Loren was in on it don't remember what it was about, but I never forget, actually how beautiful you looked, I would love to see that episode again, it would be cool if there is someone out there that remembers. Or maybe post them on the Y&Rs website? Anyway, had anyone ever told you that if you dyed your hair black that you would really look like Elvis. I know I'm silly, but you are great thanks, Gloria

Hello Doug,
I really enjoyed the Y&R episodes aired two weeks ago on the Belgian channel. On Monday, Paul came back from L.A. What a wonderful look and smile he had when he talked to Christine about his son! (Writers, what are you waiting for bringing Ricky back?) On Wednesday, the scene where Paul said goodbye to Christine and left the apartment was absolutely wonderful. On Friday, the end of the episode was fabulous, with Paul looking at Christine as if nothing and nobody else existed.
As you can see, we are about three years behind here. In order to reduce these delays, about 20% of the US episodes aren't on the air in Belgium. For instance, we didn't see the episode following the one where Isabella got arrested.
I'm very disappointed that Paul hasn't had a frontburner storyline for years in the US, and I hope that will change soon.
You are the best.

Happy birthday. Tell Y@R they need to give you a new love or better yet bring back Christine to you and you can remarry with a huge wedding and then a baby.
I would love to meet you.. I have watched you for years.
