Amazing, amazing show. It has come together--the strongest it has been in a long time--the best it has been in years. What I'm loving: pacing, physical movement in scenes, naturalistic dialog (from how to operate a cell phone to how much fudge there is in gelato). Compelling storylines (Victor's epilepsy, Phyllis' baby's paternity) are also doin' it for me.

Thank you. I know there has been some backstage change, but it's heartening to see mostly the _same_ names in front of and behind the camera. That tells me that the team has been energized.

I am glad that Dru is out of the picture for a while. I hope that Neil and Carmen will "get together". I really hope that Phyliss' baby is Nick's. No one ever seems to remember that Sharon's response to strife in her life has always been to sleep with the first friendly face that comes along. I really don't feel sorry for her at all. I am truly ready for Brad to get his just rewards. After making his living off the purses of rich women, Brad may now get to reap some of what he's always sewn.

i want to know who is that women that victors talking to and yes that baby is nick's becuase of the way he's acting and nick should leave sharon for phylis and nick will sharon is going to go with brad and victoria is just going to be by her self . and carmen is just low down she just wants dru man neil and carmen just wanted dru to stay in europe so she could get to neil but carmen is going to get caught and so is brad and who is it that keeps callin carlin ?

I really hope the baby is nick's- him and phyllis have some real sizzle! I also think sharon is so ridiculous and will sleep with anyone that pays any attention to her. And now, she's upset with Nick? What a hypocrite! As for Victor, I hope that he will end up being alright- I love his character and his devoted wife. If he does return to normal, I wish he will punch Jack right in the nose! (hahaha)

Glad to hear everyone had a nice week off; you all deserve it. Like most viewers, I too am dying to see the results of the paternity test. But I'm starting to think that maybe the paternity test reveal will indicate one thing, and later it will turn out differently (much like last year - or 2004's? - WTD of Lily (first test: Neil; 2nd test: Malcolm.) I'm thinking that Nick going away means something. I bet the paternity results indicate that Jack is the father, but Nick really wants (God knows why) to be the father, so he uses his Newman influence and money to bribe someone at some lab, and has the results doctored. In months - or years? to come, something will happen where we find out that the baby is really Jack's. Twists and turns!

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Miss Holier Than Thou Sharon ended up pregnant with BRAD's Baby after all of her "Oh Nick, we should have a baby of our own" talk?! She is such a hypocrit - hello - she had a few affairs of her own, didn't she?

And I hope they get a real good one on Brad - he is so smug all the time - he really is a slime ball.

I so want the baby to be Nick's it hurts. Congrats to Lynn Latham and the team of writers, as well as Joshua Morrow and Michelle Stafford for turning this - on paper - lurid storyline and making it compelling. The performances are layered and intuitive, the writing is sharp. I've always been but a casual soap watcher - background company - but you've got me riveted to the screen and I can't look away.

i hope that the baby is nick for phyllis..jack is too old and hateful ways will be back into her life as well her business...nick & phyllis make a wonderful couple..they are so happy with one another...i hope that nick will find out about sharon having affair with brad so he can find peace with phyllis..i hope that victoria will get sharon too...brad is a killer and loves women with only money...expose him quickly...bring the old victor back to get revenge on jack who knew what his condition was & didn't tell nikki about it..when victor gets his sense back,kick out sharon,brad & jack for ruining his company...j.t. need to get the phoney brad for ruining his life as well colleen...let kevin & daniel finally have peace and settle the past secret once & for all..neil & carmen belong together....get rid of the phoney brad & bring justice for everyone who has been suffering for all these years..

Everyone seems to forget that Nick was the one who started cheating first,long before Sharon's first affair, with the orginial slut, Grace, before Phyllis came on the scene and took the title from her. Sharon's cheating was a reaction to all the poor treatment she had to take from Nick for years. I don't see the chemisty between Nick and Phyllis, all I see is lust, and once she starts putting demands on him, the boredom of regular life and not sneaking arond sink in, it won't be long before one of them is sleeping with someone else. And this attempt to make Phyllis into a saint after all the horrible things that she has done (most of which she has never paid for...attempted murdre, drugging others, lying, switing lab results) is ridiculous on Y&R's part. Nick and Phyllis deserve each other and Sharon deserves someone better than either one of those lowlifes.

I am just wondering how Brad could marry his daughters half sister! Isnt' that some sort of incest?? Am I missing something or is that not how it is??

I really hope that the baby Phyllis is carrying is Nick's. They look so good together. The storylines have had me at the end of my seat...Keep up the hard work...Young and the Restless by far is the best Soap Opera to date...

The show is really rocking these days and I am totally intrigued by the Brad Cartlon mystery epsecially as Brad is a character who I have watched for as long as I can remember. I hope he turns out to be a victim rather than a villain. I'm also intrigued by some of the newcomers to the show. Jana is obviously more than she seems and I would love to see her get more involved in Kevin's life. I really liked Kara from her very first scene. Great banter with Paul and there were sparks there so hope she stays around. Paul really needs a love interest now Christine is gone.
It's also great news that Billy is coming back. Maybe finally Jill and Katharine will get something to do. And where did Will disappear to?

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all rested well, because WOW the storylines are amazing, and MUST take a lot out of everyone. Riveting, compelling, are some of the previous comments of the current storylines and they are so right! Someone commented that we might hear Phylis's baby is Jacks, but turns out later to be Nicks. Or...say that it's Nicks and then Jack takes a DNA test and the bsby proves to be his! He then challenges Phylis for custody. Oh no...not again! Just like Danny took Daniel.

I have watched Y&R since the first day it debuted!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it....all of the actors are great. Keep up the hard work.........God bless each of you.....

first of all love the show, always good, I think it would be sooo great if Sharon ended up pregnet with Brads Baby and before we know the truth about brad!! that would cause so much drama and we love drama!!!!

So Nick is - supposedly - the father. But one can't overlook the fact that he could have doctored the results, doesn't actually show them to Phyllis, Jack takes Nick/Phyllis' word for it, and Jack never did take a paternity test. Be interesting how this eventually turns out, and interesting to see if Sharon might also be pregnant. Lots of good other stories coming out per SOD: the Brad/"George Kaplan" - and guess his mother wasn't murdered since that character is coming on the show. Be great to see Millie Perkins; a wonderful actress. Not surprised to read that Jerry Douglas as John Abbott IS off the show; you could see that coming from months ago when there was a cake for him on set. Nice of the current regime to have him at least finish out his contract though. Y&R is always full of twists and turns - keep up the great work!

Oh...I forgot to mention...yes, Brad has been womanizing wealthy women for years etc.etc. but I don't think he is a murderer! Who did he place that call to? Maybe all those years ago, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time? Also, Billy is coming back, wow, he'll give the Fishers a hard time and be in league with Ashley, no doubt... Why not bring Victor Jr. back to claim HIS part of the Newman legacy? Look out Nick..hee-hee... Billy Abbott and Victor Newman Jr. the NEXT generation of adversarial power executives! Ok, here's my opinion...Even though I love the chemistry between Nick and Phyllis, I do not want the baby to be Nick's. I want the baby to be Jack's. It's just how do you have an affair, fall madly in love with each other, and live happily ever after...that's just not how it happens(I know this is a soap opera)
I know alot of us, dislike Jack's character, but he needs a child. Maybe that would take off some of the edge. Knowing Y&R, there will be some type of twist. It's really strange, how Nick left...I agree with the earlier post, that he's up to something. Anywho, I really agree that Sharon and Brad's relationship should be exposed...I hope Sharon is pregnant(after Nick finds out that he is not the father of Phyllis's baby). I'm really appauled by the way Y&R is describing people with epilepsy. I have epilepsy and recently went through a temporal lobectomy to remove the damaged tissue causing my seizures. You all need to do a lot more research on temporal seizures b/c you couldn't be any further away from the truth than you are. Your portraying people with epilepsy as crazy, talking to themselves, sticking their hands in the fire, and change in personality. I love Y&R but this was so shocking to hear. You really need to do your research before you do any realistic medical condition. Do your homework!

let me tell you..i am a 17 year old teen and i have never been hooked on a show like y&r. the father of phyllis's baby needs to be nicks. they belong together. and i hope that the whole nick not being the father and him switching the results doesnt happen. nick and phyllis are smokin'!!!! as for sharon, she needs to go away cause im getting really annoyed by her"you betrayed me" crap. and i think you all know why im tired of it. i have one word for her...hypocrite!! meil and carmen need to hook up...seriously. and i hope everything will be ok between lily and daniel too cause they are soooo cute its sick!!!! have kev shoot alex or something. and by the way, i cant stand ashley..she drives me nuts. shes another one who needs to go away for a while. and i love gloria to death but i like drama so she needs to be exposed for what she did. i love colleen and j.t. together...soo adorable. i hope brad gets caught as a cold blooded killer....he bugs me...ALOT!!!! i love michelle stafford. shes my favorite.

You know I love the show and it's stories. But one comment on the situation with Sharon and Nick. True enough, Nick cheated on Sharon first with Grace, but then Sharon started cheating and would not stop and stooped low enough to sleep with her husband's sister's man!! Even though I don't condone Nick's behavior with Grace or Phyllis, I hope that he does leave Sharon for Phyllis because Sharon sleeps around with everyone. At least Nick cares about who he sleeps with. Sharon just sleeps with anyone (who already has someone). I also hope that Phyllis' baby is Nicks because Jack has kids already that he doesn't take care of. (Remember Kimo and that baby with Diane?) Thanks Y&R for giving me a reason to use my DVR!!

there are a million things i could say... first, lily and colleen are a couple of zero-brained princesses, who i truly wish the writers would give them better/deeper personalities than the shallow ones they have now. second, now that nick has seen sharon and brad in the car hopefully we'll get past this long running storyline. (i am soo tired of brad). third, what's going on with lauren, michael and their baby? they seem to have disappeared.

I think that Sharon wants what she can't have and when she gets it she will want Nick back. Let her have Brad and find out that he killed his own family. Nick and Phyllis should be together and Nick should take his son with him. Neil is a dog and that woman who works with him needs to get her own life and leave my girl Drews' husband alone. I want Drew to put her in her place. And that new kid that has come on the sceen is getting old people send the punk to jail and Lili well she deserves to be unhappy for not listening to her mother and father. I love the show and want Victor to get better for he is the young and the restless by himself. Get all of them right Victor and Nicki is my girl and she will stand by her man.

I have a small comment or maybe a big one. I am loving Y&R now, I just can't wait for the next day to come. I am glad that Nick is the father, and I'm glad Nick got a chance to see what Ms. goodie 2 shoes was up to today. I hope the writers don't break up Daniel & Lily because I can see where this is going, Please let them get past this, they are just so cute together. The show's writing is better than it has been in years, and also it's moving along the storylines a lot faster,however, the credibility of medical and legal issues needs work.
Someone mentioned how unrealistic Victor's epilepsy is, so true, he is portraying it more like an addle-brained geezer, and that's not how epilepsy works!
Personally, I can't wait for him to get back to his normal self, this Victor is boring me to the point of tears!
I read that Victoria will fire Sharon because of her kissing Brad, in real life, you can't fire someone for a non job related offense, unless there is a morals clause in their contract, in which case, all the execs would have to be fired, both at Newman and Jabot!
Sharon is a hypocrite of the worst kind, she has had the hots for brad for quite a while, and she finally acted on it, not caring at all that he is married to her SIL.
Yes, nick cheated on her with grace,(the first time, he didn't know it was grace, he thought it was sharon) but she made him pay, and pay and pay for that, then she cheated on him with the stable boy, and with Cameron and with brad, and didn't seem the least bit disturbed that nick saw them!

Phyliss getting pregnant could be classified as a miracle, it just couldn't happen, and, out of all the men she has been with, she only managed to get pregnant with Nick? That's a bit of a stretch!

JOSHUA MORROW'S EMMY SHOWS, man! Awesome, awesome stuff.

The Friday 7/21 basketball scenes were amazing...fun to watch (the backdrop of humor with Michael almost "dying"), but the intensity of Morrow (while scoring perfect baskets) was really top-caliber.

But, better yet, the Monday 7/24 shows have to go on his Emmy reel (best actor!). We had concerned brother (with Vicky). We had angry rival (with Brad). We had goofball-at-the-bar (in deliciously light scenes, over Shirley Temples, with Phyllis). And we had the devastating, but quiet, end of a marriage as Nick and Sharon decided it was all over...Morrow fighting back the tears.

Listen...from 1995-2003, I don't think Joshua Morrow impressed me that much. I enjoyed him, but he didn't stand out. But, as he matured onscreen, and certainly surrounding the Cassie story, he has been CAN'T MISS.

Great writing, great production (love the restaurant clatter and the crickets outside the Newman house), great music, fabulous performances.

I am pulling for you guys to get a 5.0 Household rating again...and then up from there :-). The show is so good, so buzzworthy, it's got to happen!

I am so glad Nick and Sharon are getting a divorce.. Sharon aggravates me sooo much. Nick and Phyllis need to get together and start a life together with their baby!!! Nick ought to flick Sharon out his life...She is nothing but a tramp...they should have been over a long time ago...when she started cheating...As for as for Brad, i think he did kill his family...and victoria needs to leave him and get with jt...cause colleen is to imature for him. Her and lily is another who gets on my nerves...All my love to NICK AND PHYLLIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am loving Daniel and Lily together, so please don't break them up! They are the best teens I've seen in a looong time. The chemistry is magnificent. The actors are great. KEEP THEM TOGETHER!!! They are the future of this soap, and I love the history between Dru and Phyllis.

Just one thing-- please keep Lily away from Colleen. Colleen brings her down.

Today's eppy was good, glad to see Dru back, when she got on top of Neil, that was great, And Nick & Phyllis that was great to. And my young couple Lily and Daniel running around the Loft that was cool please don't break them up. I just love seeing them two together, They really make a cute couple on and off screen, that new Lily is very pretty, I know Daniel & Nick just love coming to work everyday.

Remember one thing..no one on young and the restless can do anything about their storyline..sharon has been given some low shallow stuff that she doesn't deserve..I've watched this show since almost the first day..its going to be awfully sad if they delete sharon..mark my word and wait and see.....!!

I don't know where to write this, but my hat is off to Y&R today Aug 3 2006, I mean Michael & Davetta brought in all the stops, they made me cry. Those two were just amazing the emotions were on time. I want to give props to Michael, that young man is going far. Those tears were on the mark, and He was just the greatest. I though he was good when he found out about his mom cheating but this just blew me away. And I can't leave out Davetta, for a young woman to step in at such a difficult time as a recast and with everyone watching you. And starting out with such a dramatic role, Like finding out about her dad & now her husband, you writer gave my young couple something to really work with and they did An Excellent job!!! Emmy nods for the both of them......

Please give nick and phyllis some really romantic scenes. They are my favorite couple you guys have really struck gold with them. Please let his marriage to Sharon be over. No one can put a smile o nick's face quite like phyllis can.

This past week was a good one with the teens. Bravo!!! to the writers for letting the young people get a shot to show their acting skills. Michael & Davetta kick it out of the park, very well done. I felt there pain, to bad the writers have to break them up. They were the only ones, beside Mikey and Lauren that were not cheating or having major problems with their marriage. Please someone hurry up with that crazy Brad storyline it is to much for words, this story is so farfetch it is making me sick.

It would like to see Sharon stay with Nick. Phyllis is a tramp who didn't even know who the father of her baby was!!!! Sharon is so much sexier and prettier than Phyllis. Once Nick gets back I hope he dumps Phyllis and gets back to making Sharon happy again.

I think that the show must not break up DANIEL and LILY.They are so cute and although they have had their problems and they are not rich...they were working out before DANIEl told her his secret.I hope she forgives him (thought she is devastated) and move on with their marriage.They are the cutest couple on the show and they do whatever it takes to make their marriage work.Neil and Dru are standing in the way of LILY forgiving DANIEL.Please Y&R....DONT BREAK THEM UP.

What is up with the writers? either they have you cheat and break you up or they break you up over something that happen 2 yrs ago. I know it was very terrible what Daniel did, but come on they were the only couple besides Mikey & Lauren that were not insane. Please get those two back together they both look so sad everytime you see them. I just love them together, they make such a cute couple on and off the screen and Lily with her little baby face, she looks so sad everyday. And stop letting Dru & Neil treat Daniel like the bottom of someone's shoe. Just a though writer's for a change why don't you let someone be happy, we the fans will still love the show, if you would only stop all the cheating and madness which is making people sick.

I would just like to say that i am now a young woman in my twenties, and have grown up watching Y&R since i was in kindergarten. I loooove the show!! There is no other soap opera like it. I love that Nick and Phyllis are together!!! I have always liked Phyllis, her capers have made her a favorite of mine. They are super cute as a couple. As for Jack I am starting to become upset with the way he is treating Gloria. Yea she's a nightmare... but his father would want him to treat her with respect. Dru needs to stop folling Neil around like a sick puppy.. makes me sick.. and that whole crew needs to give it a rest on Daniel he's a good kid and has helped lily a lot, fine group to be juding him. and if they can't treat him right then send him my way ;)

I would just like to say that I think that Jack should just leave Gloria alone for a while and let her grieve for the love of her life John Abbott. I think that Dru is a real bitch and she deserves evewry thing that she gets. But at the same time every one deserves a 2nd chance. Neil isn't exactly perfect eithier. Sharon should also leave Brad (George) alone and work on getting Nick back from Phyllis. That little Noah should have his but whipped for playing two ends against the middle.

i think you should have someone one the show who everyone is in love with and the has an std and they get it and they get sick and die. many young people today think they can go and have sex anytime they want they need to see what life is really all about.

I can't BELIEVE that you would let Jack lock gloria out of her house. That Jack's a snarling little backstabber. I just can't stand his character- he's only in his personal and professional life for himself all the way- he doesn't care who he crushes along the way. I hope that Victor gets well and seeks revenge on Jack, and I hope that Gloria can get the original will back where she gets half of the estate. I know Gloria's not perfect, but her love for John was great. On the other hand, Ashley and Jack have been awful stepchildren! shame on them.

Jack has really done it this time, so has Ashley. For me it is not enough to see the judge validate the first will. I need Jack to have been caught on the surveilance cameras of Jhons prison and I would like to see these two pennyless for a while. Maybe Gloria would decide to give them something to keep jhons spirit happy, but that should be up to her. Having class is not having money. Jack and Ashley have not kept the dignity of their father.
The story line has been too cruel to Sharon. Phyllis in her life time destroyed christine and danny's life with a pregnancy and now with another prgnancy, she took care of destroying sharon and Nick's life, how typical.

Writers take note! it was really a breath of fresh air today 8-30-06, You guys got it right for a change. You let Daniel & Lily get back together. Those 2 are smoking hot together, they are so cute, and the writers didn't screw up there young marriage. That Michael with his sexy self and Davetta is such a (PYT) pretty, young thang. They sure know hot to set it on fire, keep up the good work and stop all the cheating please.

There is a rumor going around that Marisa Ramirez is leaving, I really hope that this is just gossip. I just started watching Y&R because of her after that 'other' soap didn't utilize her. While I don't like all of the actions of the character I like the actress. I feel it's the writers job to convince me to like or even dislike a character by producing well written scripts and a back story(which I have yet to see in this case) and let the actor follow through with the rest. The actors are not miracle workers. The particular creator of 'Carmen' needs go back to the drawing board and reevaluate Carmens' purpose and give the character a fighting chance...Please

This is the first time this show is takling the supernatural. I love it, and believe that the possibilities are infinit. I mean to bring Jhon's spirit was an amazing idea. But why cant he have some extraordinary abilities. his wrath could break mirors or smash picture frames.
I basically like to see Jack scared out of his pants. What? Jack and Jhon are having nostalgic conversations??! Come on Jhon cut the electrisity out on him, stat a storm in his room, show him how mad your spirit is! you guys are representing Jhon just the way he was when he was alive. Do something different. This story line has more possibilities than Victor's illness and his visions. People love a good ghost story. One that would resolve something.

I am appauled at the the story line with Nick and Phyllis. Nick walking around all proud and Phyllis walking around singing and hugging on Nick in the work place.Sharon needs to stop being so nice and build on her inner strength. Sharon need to slap Phyllis or make Nick and Phyllis regret distroying her family. Please don't have Noah happy about the situation. Also, I am happy that Glory didn't get anything, lets not forget why John was in prison.

I am from Guyana. As a matter of fact, I HURRY HOME FROM WORK EVERYDAY to watched this show. I hate to see Phyliss and Nick together. I usually turn to another channel until that scene is finished. Please let something drastic happen that will keep Nick and Sharon together. I love them and at least portray the right message to the many young people who watch your show. Problems in marriage do not have to end this way especially when children are involved. In addition, i hate the way Jack is treating Gloria. She is not righteous but at least she deserves what her husband left for her. I love to see Gloria settled Jack. He is too self righteous. please keep him away from Sharon and let Phyliss baby be his. Also bring back the old victor. i hate this one right now.

I have been watching Y&R for 7y. now. I have always loved the show but, i am dissappointed that All is rooting for NICK&PHYLLIS. What has happened to Faithfulness and Honor in the world today,soap or not....You know everyone wouldn't be so quick to slam on SHARON if they were in the same situation.{she is crying out for someone to TRULY love her}.I can't help but, think what kind of message this story line is sending to us all, YOUNG and OLD.Married that means KEEP YOUR HANDS to yourself.Somehow let Sharon arise and show NICK just what HE has lost!10 years is a long time to throw away for PHYLLIS.SIGNED DISSAPOINTED in KY.

I love where the story is going with Sharon and Jack. To tell you the truth I want Noah to break up Nick and Phyllis but I truly want Sharon and Jack together. The chemistry between the two of them is amazing. And enough with Sharon putting up with all the Newman nonsence. Carmen......! I dont like her.
Drue is not one of my favourite people and gets on my nerves alot. But Carmen should truly find her own man not someone elses. And Neil: have you heard of something called divorce?
