Peter Bergman’s birthday was Sunday, June 11, and he spent the weekend celebrating at his vacation home on Balboa Island, Calif. with his wife Mariellen and daughter Claire. “My birthday was pretty low key this year,” Peter told the Insider when we caught up with him in the bustling CBS commissary. “One of the things I wanted to do for my birthday was to read the whole Sunday New York Times. I didn’t read the whole thing, but I probably read a full article in every section of the paper. It was just great.”

But Peter was most excited by one of the gifts he received. “Mariellen bought me a new Armani suit,” he said with a grin.

I am a "few" years younger than Peter, but I can't help thinking he is the sexiest guy on Y&R. The short hair has just put me over the moon. Thanks... um... Peter or hairstylist or whoever thought that was a good idea!

The writters reall do a good job with Jack's dialogue, Peter does it so well, just flawless.
