Melody’s Hosting Duties
Melody Thomas Scott did double duty recently when she guest-hosted two episodes of "Soap Talk," then rushed over to the "Y&R" set to tape her scenes for the day. Melody graciously offered to fill in for Lisa Rinna, who was busy with "Dancing with the Stars," and she invited a couple of "Y&R" hotties to be her guests! Of course, "Y&R" production had to move a few scenes around to get Joshua Morrow to the "Soap Talk" set in time! Greg Rikaart barely finished his scenes in time to hop into a limo and rush over to chat with Melody. As he was hurrying out to his waiting car, Greg realized that he was still in show wardrobe, and he had to make a quick cell phone call to Costume Designer Jennifer Johns to straighten everything out!

Melody’s "Soap Talk" episodes will air in late March.

I saw Melody when she appeared on Soap Net a couple of weeks ago. What an enjoyable delight she was. I am looking forward to seeing Melody co-host the show and interview Joshua in particular. Melody is such a beautiful, gracious,talented actress. Too bad her character Nikki does not have a story line and these days rarely appears. I know I am speaking for Melody's many fans when I say it is outrageious that Nikki has been relegated to back burner status and that Nikki and Victor who have more chemistry than most of Y&R's other couples put together are rarely seen and don't have a story line together which focuses on them as a romantic couple.

I am a big Melody fan and Nikki is my favorite character. I am looking forward to seeing Melody hosting SoapNet. I have to say I am so disappointed and yes angry that Nikki, who is the back bone of Y&R, has no story line and that the writers seems to have lost interst in writing for Nikki and for Nikki and Victor. I hope the new head writer makes good on her promise thta we will be seeing alot more of Nikki and Victor and that they will have a major story line together.

Wish I got Soapnet! Melody is the consummate lady, and I would love to see this interview. Melody is the best there is imo!

well i really would like to see melody have a bigger story line. you dont really see that much of her nowadays. i just love her acting skills. she should be on there as much as possible!!i thnk her and victor should have a big storyline together!! i just wanted to voice my opinion.

I love Greg Rikaart. He is great. He is probably my favorite character on the show, on side of Michelle Stafford who plays Phyllis. Its just my opinion but a great storyline would be that Phyllis and Nick end up together and Phyllis gets pregnant with a baby girl (in place of Cassie.)
