Greg,
Hey you! Happy, Happy Birthday Baby!! I hope you had an incredible day and get all that you wish for. You are such an amazing person and an incredible talent. Since I didn't get to celebrate your birthday with you this year (like we did in Vegas last year), we'll have to make up for it in April! Best wishes to you. Happy BD to Greg and Jess! You are both outstanding! Now on another (sad) note, We just heard about John Abbott's character being written off the show...what a shame. If he does flee to Ireland, will they bring him back from time to time? And, what about Gloria, (Judith Chapman)? The character of John Abbott has been nothing short of class, charisma and stability. Mr. Jerry Douglas,(John), you will be deeply missed. The best to you always. Christine.

Happy Birthday Greg,
I hope you had a wonderful birthday. You are one of the best actors I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The Y & R is one of the best things about my day. Everything stops when it comes on and my day starts again when it's over...only to find myself longing for the next show. I love it!!! By the way...isn't it time for Kevin and Mackenzie to finally get together...I hope so!

To Greg Rikaart: hope you had a wonderful birthday! You are a great, great actor. Congrats on your 2nd Emmy nom.; hope you win this year, too! I know a lot of fans, myself included, wish "Kevin" could have more edgy stuff to do; not necessarily revert to all his evil ways (characters have to grow) but show some of his dark side, etc. People love the Kevin/Mikey scenes; it was great when the show made those characters brothers. Kevin was villanious at first; so, years ago. was Mikey. Something that has kept Michael Baldwin a bad guy-good guy over the years, is even though he gradually became less villainous, he retained an edge - being a sharp, some might say, cutthroat, lawyer. And viewers saw/see this in courtroom scenes. So I think if Kevin had a more interesting job, we could see HIS "shark-like" or "evil" side: in a business setting (what more cutthroat environment??!) Running the coffeehouse doesn't make for a lot of drama. But being Gloria's "right-hand man" in trying to run Jabot, for example, would give a lot of opportunities to see Kevin in the business world, doing good and bad things, being his mother's henceman, etc. Or if Gloria eventually is thwarted in business/Jabot, Kevin would make a great admin. assistant/junior executive working with Jill! Just a thought. Again, LOVE your work!
