Hello, I am very disappointed that John Enos and
Christel Khalil are leaving. I have enjoyed the romance between Daniel and Lily. I think they have a great chemistry and hate for her to be recast. I reminds me of Billy and Mac. I hope this recast will work out better.
John is a great actor and actually better suited to nighttime TV. He is handsome and his brightness is obvious. It will be daytime's loss.
Love the new set, Kevin in the hot tub with the girls was worth the whole hour.

Hey Y&R...been a long time fan, just love the show but I have to comment on the "black mail" that 's happening between terrible Tom and Gloria...it's ridiculous. She could easily get out of that one if she wishes & everyone knows it...and besides, it makes poor John look foolish. Terrible Tom does add alot to the show, but pleeeease give him another "dirty deed" to be done! This one's old and oh so whatever!

LINDA - Shemar is staying, so don't worry. But you're right, getting rid of Damon (an extremely talented actor) and John Enos (another fantastic actor) just makes no sense. But what can we do?

The same sense must have been used for this so-called rooftop spa. Uh, the "sizzling summer" is almost over! Hey writers, the show takes place in Wisconsin. Have you ever been to Wisconsin? It isn't clear to me whether the rooftop spa has a roof of its own (like a dome). If it doesn't (which really wouldn't make any sense), you can only use the set for another month. Have you ever been in Wisconsin in September? Sorry, not many sun tan opportunities there. At the very most you'll be able to use this new "outdoor" set from May - September, so basically you're a little late (though the set looks marvelous).

And even if the place has a rooftop, it makes no sense to have everyone enter GCAC in boots and overcoats and strip down to their bikinis come winter. SoCal witers just don't get the midwest. I smell a field trip!

The kids spend too much time at the only coffee house in town. Have them spend more time AT SCHOOL! A library? What about the park? That's a year-round set. Another restaurant? How about more time at Fenmores? What ever happened to Victor's rec center? That just got dropped like a bad habit. If you're going for realism, give it a little thought.

During the Insider's relatively-brief Absence, you could have checked the last Thread in June where there were new Posts added.

For now at Least it appears that Mr. Enos has left without his Character being killed off (though conceivably this could happen off-Camera should the Writers wish), so, for the Sakes of those of you who particularly like him, I hope Mr. Marsino can eventually return, though hopefully not as a Mobster!!! If I am not mistaken, Miss Khalil is leaving of her own Volition, though I personally regret it. Again may she have a worthy Successor!!! And, though I continue to have mixed Feelings about this, may Miss Carter's Storyline be such as will interest us, etc., over Time!

If it's not too late, please reconsider your (rumored) decision to not have Jill be Katherine's daughter afterall. If you do this, the last 2+ years will have been a collossal waste of time! You can't "unring a bell." I like the new dynamic between Jill and Katherine (when you are giving them any airtime, that is). It was a welcome change from all the ranting and screaming, which had become very tiresome, IMHO.

Where has Jess Walton been? All summer long she's been on maybe five times and now when you start showing her again you're (presumably) going to take away this storyline from her? This is shameful. I supposed you will make Nikki Katherine's daughter instead. YAWN!! This had better not be true. Jill and Nikki are not even the same age-viewers aren't stupid. The Newmans have enough wealth and power on this show without being heirs to the Chancellor fortune. What about Jill's grandson Phillip Chancellor IV?? Are we just supposed to forget he exists?

If this rumor is true, please reconsider your decision. There is SO MUCH you could be doing with this familial connection between Jill and Katherine-if you would only give them just SOME of the airtime that LILY has been getting!

Hey there Boys and Girls; Just spent the last few minites reading everyone elses responces and reactions to current event, rangeing from show stuff to the coming and going of different actors and actresses. I think that the bottom line for everyone to keep in mind is that this is a business and that after all is said and done it all starts and stops with the almighty dollar. This is why you see so many people cominga and going. Not to mention the contract ending periods and other jobs that some may have lined up to go to after Y&R.
You have to remember that Y&R is a bigger part of our lives that it is a part of theirs. To most of them its just a job. And as much as I have really had a hard time accepting that Casey Newman is gone, the understanding that I have is that there were more story opps for more people with here death then there would have been with her survival. Couple that with the fact that she is only 15 years old people!, and had been on the show for over seven years. I know that she was happy with the opp to be able to just be a kid again. Yes I do wish her and kristal and john and the actor that played damin porter, all the best but I also see the potentail for the up and coming people and storylines as well. Thanks to a little advice from Sharon Case who I have been writeing back and forth with for the past couple of years now and its because of some inside feedback from the actors themselves that I think that I have a better understanding about how things are done not just from a story point but from an actors point of view as well. This is one of the reasons why I think i have watched the show for so long now 23yrs. Anyway, I won't bore anyone with anymore of my rambleings. Just promise me one thing in return K? I love the flashbacks of Lauren and Shiela, I remember that storyline when it happened many years ago. They should show how shiela padded herself in her last 3 months of pregnancy and fooled scott. how she blackmailed Brad and Lauren with a photo of them in bed, sent by pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and all the other nasty things she has done to give current viewers just more insight on horrible this person is and got away with everything!! Are they going to bring back Molly Carter back, she tried to help Lauren. Glad to see old ghosts re-appear, congrats Y/R.

i just love Y and R. i lived in southamerica and it show 5 30 my time and i rush to go home just to see it .anyway i want to know what really going on with shemar moore i just love him and that guy who play bobby why he leaving ?i think they should keep the old actors reather that going and bring new people .tom fisher makes not sense, any please don't let go of anymore favorites

As I _MIGHT_ have written previously, I tend to agree that the Storyline having Mrs. Jill Abbott being Mrs. Chancellor's Daughter should not be changed. And yet might they be doing this, if they are, because they think Conflict between them will be more interesting than less of this with some Peace?

Mr. O'Toole, it is _CERTAINLY_ good of Miss Case to take the Time and make the Effort to correspond with some of us!!! She has not gone into the Ins and Outs of the Business Side of our Programme with me as she seems to have done with you, so I _MUCH_ appreciate the Insights she and apparently others have shared. No, it would not be right of us to expect fully-committed Performances from those whose hearts are elsewhere, and yes, the "Almighty Dollar" of Course plays a big Part, but is there not some Room for Fan Input as to the general Direction the Programme should take at the very Least? If they do not like what they are seeing and hearing overall, are they not likely to stop watching and listening? _I_ still listen, but I think most of you know where I stand reference the Romalotti Matter, and further _KNOW_ that many agree!!!

I am just waiting for the trial to be over and daniel to be set free so we can see some shirtless daniel relaxing in the hot tub! And while your at it why dont you throw greg in the hot tub too i wanna see some skin! On another note please please please dont break up daniel and lily. I know lily is being recast but please keep them together. Daniel and Lily are such an awesome couple and us "Daily Fans" are willing to give the recast a chance. We want to see daniel in a relationship and how he acts when he isn't so volnuerable after this whole mess with cassie's death and the trial are over.

The Daniel/Cassie storyline has gone on for far too long, I wish they would just end it.
Daniel will be cleared of all charges but realistically he will still know it was his fault, if he didn't drink she wouldn't have attempted to drive.
I still think this was a waste of a great character, Cassie Newman. Daniel will still have to watch his back and hope that no one ever finds out how he set Lily up with Alex.

Lillie needs to go to boarding school far far away...she is a terrible example for young teen girls...drama is one thing, but she is over the top. She has obession issues over the men in her life from Kevin Fisher to now Daniel...please write her out!

I just wanted to say that its been nice to see more of Christine lately, Lauralee Bell with all the courtroom scenes. I think that she looks great with her hair done off her face. I love when she wears her hair up and not always just hanging down. It just makes her look so much more attractive. She has a beautiful face and now you can see so much more of it. I also loved when she had her shorter bob style, also very flattering. Thanks, Carol of Calgary Canada.

I'm sure the young crowd like the romance between Daniel & Lily, but the new spa setting seems just to walk biquini clad & muscled guys across the screen It just doesn't seem like a realistic setting. Neither does the Crimson Bell where all these kids spend all their time. Why make Nicholas Newman such a jerk as sor some time he's always angry. Give him a few moments of clarity. I can't believe you'd ever change Kathryn's daughter to anyone unless Jill leaves the program. By the way, J.T., I hope you keep.

the story line with sheila I hope you get rid of her because all she will do is make Lauren's life miserable with Mike because Sheila will try to take him away from Lauren and I like Lauren with Mike so I say lets get this wedding show on the road. I love Y&R I watch it everyday and if I am not at home I record it keep up the good work. pleeeeeeeeease bring Bobby back too.

Wish you had a channel where we can watch the rerun of the day. On the Soaps channel DAys of our lives and guiding light fans can watch the daily shows at a later time, they are shown twice. Us Y&R fans don't get to do so if we miss our show. Can you please consider another hour and have the show run twice so that if we miss during the day we could watch at night??

I love the show and enjoy watching every bit of it. I'm glad that khristel(Lily) is gone. She worked on my nerves by not listening to her parents. She began to sound really stupid. Phylis is a wonderful actress. I love her enthusiam. She and Jack are a wonderful match. They should get married again. Phylis you have it going on girlfriend. The writers of the show are doing great, however when is Nicolas coming out of his shell? He's boring. Jerry Douglas is such a nice person. He doesn't deserve Gloria, He deserves someone like Gina/Mrs Chancelor. Nice people who would love him for him. What's up with Shelia? Why the different deguises to get back at Lauren? If she's so tough why not approach Lauren face to face. Scottie is cute. Where is he from? He favors Lauren a lot. Any Relations. this is just an opinion and I will continue to watch the show. I wished you'll came on atleast twice a day if not the weekends too. :)I look forward to the return of Shemar Moore. He is so awesome/attractive.

TO KANITA, ABOUT RE-RUNNING PROGRAM...WHY DON'T YOU TAPE IT. I DO EVERY DAY, AS I WORK TOO.

1-sharon is pretty amazing.what a speedy recovery after the death of a beloved child. This I realy dont get. the whole flirting thing with brad and her is totally disgusting.
2-I have no patience for the story line between winters and Divans mother. Its too much. just too much of Divan to bring this mess in to his foster family.
3- I love Tom, and I love what he is doing for the show rightnow. At this point he is the only glue holding y&R together.
4- Brittineys story is chaotic and doesnt make any sence whatsoever. The only neat thing out of all this is Jills love for baby Josh. It is pure and simple. Very nice to see that side of jill. I love this lady.She is another reason I watch the show. her personality is very complex and her acting is superb. Love you Jill.

I wish Y&R would bring back Nina and Cricket. It has been a long time since the old Nina had a big fight with Cricket over something. I like Nina and wish she was back in the storyline. She makes a fascinating character and and old character.

PLEASE ,get rid of GLORIA. hurry and bring back Sheila. I think Kevin And Michael should get caught.
