Love Simple Plan, love that song, hate this storyline. But I must admit that when I first saw the video for Simple Plan's "Untitled" I immediately thought of the Daniel/Cassie situation. Great song choice and hopefully by incorporating it into this storyline, you've helped to send the "Drinking and driving do not mix" message to some of the show's younger viewers.

I've been watching your show since I was 12. I am now 30. JT and Mac should be together. I also think Lily and Daniel are adorable. I think Victoria and Brad could be an interesting pair. But on that note, I can also see Victoria with her Daddy's long-time enemy--Jack Abbott!! Now wouldn't that create a story line!

I also do not mind Master Romalotti and Miss Winters as a Couple, but, as many of you know well and share with me, I think I would like Mr. Hellstrom to re-unite with Miss Carlton even better!!!

I am further _MOST_ pleased that our Runaway Teens have been cleared of the Robbery and Murder which occurred at that Los Angeles Store, and could it be that the Outcry which many of us have been making here on the Insider Board, along with hopefully _NUMEROUS_ others elsewhere, has _POSSIBLY_ had good Effect, those two to be soon cleared of their Genoa-City Charges as well? Yes, a rhetorical Question, but would that not be _ABSOLUTELY_ _WONDERFUL_?!!!

Daniel's part has gotten deservedly bigger, but I cannot help but comment upon how "ugly" the Y&R script writing has become in recent months. As in some of the previous comments, we hate to see the plots affecting Daniel, Phyllis, Michael, Sharon, JT, Mac and others drawn out as low-life characters like Tom & Vinnie bully them around. This is not the Y&R we have followed & enjoyed for years with its well-drawn characters getting in and out of interesting plot lines. Y&R is sinking down to the level of other soaps which can only deal with the sensational type of events. Hope the writers wake up before we give up and leave.

Sorry, Colleen fans. I didn't get her. She was too young for JT from day one, and I could never buy into the relationship. However, I think JT and Mac have even worse chemistry, so if it was between the two, I'd pick Colleen. Then again, I think JT and Brittany would be even better.

Nancy, other than Colleen, I totally agree with you. I think the reason why most people are not into the new Mac is because they have totally changed the character.

Joe Most of us JT fans never considered Brittany HOdges OR Mackenzie Browning a ROMANTIC interest for JT. and NEVER will Brittany and Mackenzie are friends that grew up together and were part of GLOW BY JABOT together that should be as far as it goes. SORRY YOU NEVER GOT INTO cOLLEEN JOE> WE DID from Day one and we were on the edge of our seats from then on.

I just want to say i looove the daniel and lily storyline and i am hoping that they both get cleared of all charges soon. I know there is going to be alot of drama with their parents but I would love to see this romeo and juliet like relationship happen. This couple has soooo many fans and i have thought these two would be perfect for each other ever since Daniel made his first appearance in Genoa City. I have to admit I have not really cared much about any of the other storylines except for michael and laurens wedding. Please show more of kevin soon...greg needs more air time and kevin needs a girlfriend...but please do NOT let it be MAC!!!! I love the show and I am thrilled that we have a new young couple because I am still not over jt and colleen. I miss lyndsy fonseca and I still wish she for her return!! I would love if she came back and reunited with JT (for good this time) but I am still Loving Daniel and Lily - "Daily" as we fans call them! Well Joe, if Jack SMith were smart, and with his actions of everybody he has let go in the last year i do "Quesion that" he would let Rachel Kimsey go and let her find a role that is made for her. Mackenzie Browning is not it. And he would BEG Ashley Bashioum to come back as Mackenzie. Ashley is MAck no one else. And he would let Lauren W.GO as BRittany let her go off into the sunset with Bobby/. Ashley Bashioum has chemistry with KEvin it was just not pursued. Lynds Fonseca has a HUGE FAN BASE so do Jt/Colleen I am PROUD to be a part of it. OH and Phylis Staffford Even though I am not watching the show at this time, I did catch a couple of your scenes at the jail yesterday with "daniel" you and Michael G are excellent. GREAT SCENES just wish MIchael damien was back.

I'd rather have seen the storyline about drinking and driving, this was not a drinking/driving accident. It was underage drinking, and a person driving without a license.
The storyline has become boring, its way too predictable, I'd rather see someone else driving the car, someone who did drink and decided to drive both Daniel and Cassie home.
As it is, this storyline is just way too predictable, it has fizzled out to nothing.

Poster Nancy, and all other Fans of our Couple, in the SoapCity Interview which was cited earlier, it should interest us to note that Mr. Smith also likes them, and recently discussed bringing Miss Fonseca back with some of his Staff. Yet, as was posted above, he unfortunately has no immediate Plans to bring her back, though, as also with Miss Grimes believe it or not, he is adopting a "Never-Say-Never" Posture!!! And, if I recall correctly, Miss Bashiom left due to Inconvenience. I agree that her Character seems to have changed, and I would somewhat welcome Miss Bashiom's Return could it happen, but I think most of us wish Miss Fonseca back even more!!! I do not now recall that Couple being particularly dramatic (unless that came in Visual Aspects which I am unable to see as previously related), but I just find them _SO_ heart-warming!!!

Also J vaughan just so you know MIss Bashioum left because she was fired. Miss Kimsey was hired and told to cut her hair and dye it and MIss Bashioum was told she was being let go. MIssBashioum was told they were changing the character it is a total insult to MIss Bashioum and to the character. Her leaving had nothing to do with school schedules or conflicts or anthing else. Smith just used that as an excuse. SHe was FIRED

I absolutuely looove Daniel and Lily's relationship. Guess that makes me a "Daily' fan. This is, by far, one of the best things that has happened to this show in a long time. Loved the song by simple plan... Oh, I think Devon (Bryton McClure) is the cutest thing ever. Did you know that he played "little Richie" on Family Matters (Steve Urkel)? Go Lily and Daniel...please don't let this wonderful thing end But let the truth about the car crash come out soon so Nick Newman can calm down and get back to the other Nick that I remember and love so much.

Poster Nancy, if what you say about Miss Bashiom's Situation is true (and there seems to be no current Reason to doubt you), then it is _AT_ _LEAST_ rather disappointing since, though she was a "Teeney Bopper," her Character had Principles, etc.!!! She also was tough (I called her "Mack Truck" since I do not think anyone would want her to plough into them if they were wrong!), but had a caring Side as well. _MAYBE_ she has not yet lost all those Principles, but I agree that she is probably not now what she once was, and more's the Pity for that at Least as far as I am concerned!

J Vaughan we fans TOTALLY AGREE WITH you Mackenzie Browning had her "principals" and that is what we LOVED about her. SHe had her "MORALS" and with this recast that is all out the window. NOW we read that Christel Khalil "Lily" is leaving to pursue primetime and movies at the end of the month, so what is left of the teen scene with COlleen gone too??? Who is there to TUNE INTO??? THeir Mack??? I don't think so. And Camryn Grimes will NOT be coming back. NOt as a Twin or a new character not at all. The teen scene is DEAD>

I _CERTAINLY_ am no Teen, and have not been one for close to 40 Years. Also I personally do not care much for the slangy Language usually used by Teens (and most Adults as well it would seem). And yet, strange as it may seem, those Characters we have been discussing here, Master Romalotti and Miss Winters, Mr. Hellstrom and Miss Carlton, have somehow become Favourites, especially the Females!!! Should the Rumour be true, I regret Miss Khalil's impending Departure, and _CERTAINLY_ wish her well, further hoping that the Re-Cast, as the Rumour again has it, will somehow prove more worthy than some others have seemed to be to some of us!!!

For those who are interested, Lyndsy Fonseca {ex Colleen} will be seen on a CBS pilot that got picked up Called "HOw I met your MOther" MOnday nites TUne in it is supposed to be very good getting good reviews. She is also ON HBO on a show called BIG LOVE produced by Tom Hanks. BOth shows she is RECURRING. ANd you know if TOm Hanks is producing something it has to be good.

I have been watching Young and the Restless since I was small. I love it. Now I have got my mom into it now. It always keeps me in suspense. I have to watch it the very next day.
That is something where I would want to go into.

I LOVE Daniel and Lily together. I was a HUGE fan of the J.T. and Colleen relationship, and since that ended the show has been rather boring to me. As a teenager, I like seeing TEENAGE RELATIONSHIPS! I love romances, and Lily and Daniel is PERFECT! Definitely my favorite! Daniel and Lily have got so much chemistry and I hope it doesn't end soon! I watch the show daily, and seeing Daniel and Lily together, to me, makes the show so much better! It's the best move Y&R has made in a LONG time..... I think Michael Graziadei(Daniel) is like the hottest guy in this world! Since he cut his hair, he is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! He's to die for!He was always sexy, but cutting his hair made him that much more hotter! Christel Khalil(Lily) is SO lucky to play his girlfriend on thew show! I would love to play her part! Michael is just so sexy! I just love him! I just hope and pray Y&R will hurry up and free Daniel, so he and Lily can get on with their lives......I mean, come on..... CASSIE WAS DRIVING! They found a piece of her shoe under the accelerator....what more evidence do they need? Daniel don't wear a size 7 in Women's high heels! Just hurry and get him out of there!.... He's is by far the sexiest guy on earth! LOL! What I would do to get to date him!

Poster Britt, as you may know, Miss Khalil has chosen to leave the Programme, but _HOPEFULLY_ they can find a Re-Cast who can be _AT_ _LEAST_ as effective!!! And, as you saw ToDay, one Mr. Nicholas Newman lied about still having the Clothes worn by his Daughter the Night of that Accident, though, not being able to see, I do not know what he was doing with them at the End of the Episode, except, by the Sound, it appears that he was taking them outside. I hope he does _NOT_ destroy them, or, if he discards them, that they can somehow be recovered should Miss Blair have them sopoenaed since they presumably can then match the Shoe Fragment found in the Car with the Rest of the Shoe, thus providing the Vindication of Master Romalotti for which many, if not most, of us _LONG_!!! Yet, in the Meantime, we must witness what happens to Miss Winters subsequent to her Arrest. Regretably she _WAS_ engaged in a Deception, though hopefully it can finally be seen as a minor one. That Mistress of Disguises, Mrs. Phyllis Abbott, obviously did not help her Situation with Detective Webber by her Part in this.

Whatever happened to John Silva? I'm glad that Lily is going to be re-cast. Ms. Khalil should take some professional acting lessons before venturing off into prime time.

Mr. Silva, not being one to Sugar-coat Matters, _CERTAINLY_ had some difficult Clients who were trying to get him to do Things which his Honesty prevented him from doing! If you wanted a "Yes Man" for an Attorney, you did _NOT_ want to hire him (unless you and he were basically on the same Tack), though you would if you wanted someone honest who would not, llike Mr. Baldwin, sometimes cut Corners! Yet he could play with his Women as he did for a Time with one Mrs. Jill Abbott.

I am so glad that Lilly's character is going away. Whoever is responsible for writing how she acts needs a dose of reality. Black girls DO NOT act like her. It is absolutely ridiculuos to think that our mothers, fathers, community would stand for Lilly's nonsense. The day a black girl acts that way and speaks to her parents that way, will be the day that you see a black girl laid out on the floor!!

Iamaloyal fan of the YandR, but I feelwe need some new characters on the show. Maybe people that actually have a real life. You never see anyone cooking a dinner or cleaning...I would like to see it become a bit more real.
