But Peter sees the bright side of having a June birthday. "The good news is, I have Father's Day a week later!" he jokes.

Peter Bergman is an excellent actor. He embodies "Jack" so well that no one else but him could play the character (not even the first actor - may he rest in peace). Peter, hope they're paying you what you richly deserve.

Peter, you are such a great actor and a true asset to the show. I like how "real" you are on camera. You ARE Jack Abbott. Your casual expressions, maneurisms, etc, it is always a pleasure to watch you work. Especially when you and Victor are at it. I am still holding out hope that one day, ONE DAY, Jack will give Victor a bit of come-uppance. Hope you have a great birthday, and best wishes to your family as well. I am sure that family support is one of the main reasons why you are as good as you are.

Peter, happy birthday. My son's 24th birthday is also tomorrow. His birthday party with friends is at a certain Gentlemen's Club here in Sin City starting tonight. Ah, to be a kid again. Have a great day with family and friends, Peter.

It is good to read here, and I seem to vaguely recall him once discussing this as well, that Mr. Bergman is a Family Man. I therefore join those who have here wished him well on his Birthday, but _ANYONE_ who wants him may have that devious, etc., Mr. Jack Abbott!!! Yet, as has also been written here, Mr. Bergman portrays him exceedingly well! Yet I would personally prefer that he again play a Doctor on TV, though I do not know whether or not that Doctor in Pine Valley was more honourable than Mr. Abbott.

You play the role of Jack so well.I will never forget the scene where you tried to compfort Nikki when she lost your baby boy. I cried and cried over that. You made it so REAL.
and Nikki lost your baby

Happy Birthday Peter!
As a long time fan of Y&R (20+) years, I cannot imagine anyone else playing "Smilin" Jack Abbott other than you. I enjoyed Terry Lester but you Mr. Bergman, are the real Jack. I had the pleasure of meeting you recently and if possible, my respect for you as a person and an actor increased ten fold, you are the consumate professional and a credit to your profession.
Enjoy your day and your time with your family.
A devoted fan,

Hi Peter: I hope you had a wonderful birthday and a great upcoming Father's Day. I have been a Y & R fan for almost 30 years. A friend of mine named Christine met you here in Ontario Canada at Flamborough Downs in Flamborough, Ontario a couple of years ago and she had you sign a picture for me in memory of my mother. I have it displayed in my living room and it is a great conversation piece. It really means a lot to me that you did that. Take care, Lorraine

Happy Birthday Peter Bergman (aka Jack)!
I love this soap! I have been watching for as long as I can remember. (Im only 19, so that should tell you something). My mom watched it (and still does today), and her mom watched, so Y&R runs in my family. Im sure I'll keep watching it, and Im sure someday my children will end up watching as well. Keep up the good work, and R.I.P. William J. Bell...
Sincerely, Stephanie, Detroit, MI

I have been watching Y&R since day one back in 73, and I think it is a wonderful soap. However, I was so disappointed when Cassie died. Did she leave voluntarily, and what is she doing now? I watched her grow up on Y&R and I feel so sad she is not there anymore.

Peter,
I just viewed this site in January, 2006; so happy belated birthday. I have watched Y and R for about 10 years. I happened to watch it one summer when I had lunch with my mother. She would not miss your show. We sat by her T.V. watching Y and R as we ate our lunches. I became hooked on Y and R. I record it when I cannot watch it during the day. You and all the cast act with such realism. Thanks for my daily hour escape to the world of Genoa City and its inhabitants.
