The Insider was shocked recently to see three of Y&R's upstanding cast members being taken away in police cars! We breathed a sigh of relief to learn that Keith Hamilton Cobb (Damon), Rachel Kimsey (Mac) and Kate Linder (Esther) weren't being hauled off the big house. In fact, they were given a special LAPD escort downtown to the Los Angeles 9-1-1 Dispatch Center in honor of National Dispatchers Week. Turns out, the L.A. dispatchers are huge Y&R fans! And Keith, Rachel and Kate were more than happy to stop by the dispatch center to pose for photos, sign autographs and thank the dispatchers for the important work they do every day. During their visit, the Y&R actors were impressed by the high tech equipment the dispatchers work with - and they even got to listen in on some 9-1-1 calls!

The Y&R cast members had an exciting ride downtown with their "arresting" officers!

Insider, can you tell us why Keith Hamilton Cobb has been dismissed from Y&R??? He is a great actor! True, his storylines have lacked punch these last few months, but I thought he would be a great friend for Victoria!!

I also wanted confirmation on the dismissal of Keith Hamilton Cobb. Is this true? I think that the actor--in all his Zen tranquility--could have been employed to interesting effect. For example, imagine if his character had been able to get Ashley to mellow out.

To fans everywhere

I hope Keith can now open up his acting options. The UK would make a great place to start. I am sure there are lots of fans who would like this to happen.

Y&R should have paired Keith and Victoria(Drucilla) when he first came to the show. I feel thatDamon and Dru had instant chemistry and would have been a hit instead of Damon/Phyllis, I didn't see or feel anything remotely romantic/sexual chemistry between those two. Plus this would have opened up more storylines for Neil, Olivia, & Malcolm.

I was disappointed to hear that Keith(Damon) had left the show. He is a very great actor, with much talent.And at the first, him and Drucilla would been a great explosive couple together. I hope to keep in touch with his whereabouts.

I don`t like what they are doing to JT and Mac, Brittainy and Bobby. It seems everytime Mac seems to be happy something happens, the same for JT.

hullo guys.thanx.i im in uganda and i liked so much to see billy and mac in deep love but the way mac was taking herself i didnt like it.by the way what happened to billy.we fans in uganda love you guys of y&r.

Has any one news of Keith's next work related project? Can we be seeing him on our tv screens in the near future?
